Trader Joe’s.
Whenever I go to Trader Joe’s I can’t help but notice how happy their staff is. Other than being kind and positive, they know that the store’s successis their OWN success, too.
Last week I was walking around the aisle, and I asked an employee if TJ has a loyalty program in place. She could have just said: “No, sorry.” Instead:
“Look, honestly our prices are so good that you don’t even need one...”
Yesterday I had a full bag at check out. When done scanning, the cashier (with a full smile) goes:
“Well… not bad for 20 bucks right?! Have a good day man.”
And it’s true, their prices are hard to top. It’s also one of the few chains with no delivery service / digital App - here’s a note from management about it:
“After considering the options, we're still just big ‘ole fans of the neighborhood grocery store where we can say hello when you're looking around wondering - "what's for dinner?"
Well, if this means quality, convenience, and a happy shopping experience… How can you not come back??
In a world where everyone makes predictios about the future, TJ is (quite successfully) jumping back into the past.
P.S. If you haven't tried this seasoning yet, do yourself a favor and stock up! 😋
